Organization’s Objective

Politicians and interest groups promoting various solutions to global warming lack two critical elements: High quality economic analysts to design their policies appropriately, and a committment to ensure that their policies are fair and just from both an economic and racial angle. We have extensive history in designing environmental and energy policies that help rather than hurt the economy and ensure that their costs and benefits are shared broadly and equitably. Without these elements, climate policy will generate unsustainably high and concentrated economic costs, likely leading to complete policy failure.
