About Arizona League of Conservation Voters

Leadership

Thomas Hulen

Executive Director

Thom joined the League staff in June 2007 after more than a year on our board of directors, much of that serving as vice-president. Thom has worked in conservation for decades serving as the Conservation Director for the Desert Foothills Land Trust, and working for the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Steven C. Arnquist

Membership Director

Steve joined the League in August of 2005 and works in both Tucson and the Phoenix area. He has directed field campaigns for multiple organizations and campaigns in Southern Arizona in the past years. Steve was most recently the Southern Arizona Regional Director for the Moving America Forward Foundation. He attended University of California - Santa Cruz. Steve and his crew work tirelessly spreading our message to the community one voter at a time.

Organization’s Objective

AZLCV is continuing our work of the last 15 yrs to build a pro-conservation majority in our state Legislature. In 2006 we made great strides towards this goal by electing 7 new pro-conservation candidates to office. With a repeat of this feat we will finally have the pro-conservation Legislature that we have worked all of these years for.
